About Charles

My name is Charles Gallaer. I’m an attorney that focuses on the automobile industry specializing in representing auto dealerships. I’m licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Florida and have clients located throughout the United States. My legal practice is deeply rooted in my extensive background in the automobile industry. Growing up, I gained invaluable hands-on experience working at my family's dealership, where I learned the intricacies of running an automotive business. This early exposure laid a solid foundation for my future career.

After graduating from the University of Virginia, I had the privilege of working for a major auto manufacturer. This role provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the broader industry and its many facets. I learned about the business from the manufacturer’s point of view while calling on some of the largest dealerships in my assigned territory.

Armed with this experience, I decided to return home to Virginia and work for my family’s dealership group. I was the General Manager of a dealership for over seven years, and learned firsthand the challenges dealers face on a daily basis. My dream was to go to law school, which I did. However, I wanted to use my decades of experience in the automobile industry to help clients throughout the United States.

My unique blend of real-world experience and legal expertise enables me to offer practical, effective legal assistance to my clients. I am passionate about helping auto dealerships, powersport dealerships, marine dealerships, and other franchisees and businesses navigate the complex legal landscape and achieve their business goals.
